Feeling inspired by some awesome doggie & anime artwork I saw today by hallucinojen, I decided to do some animation-style doggie designs of my own. I have always been annoyed how you rarely see small dog drawings. Why people focus so much on big dogs is beyond me, as my two small dogs, Mac the Maltese and Mei the Shih Tzu, have given me just as much love as any big dog. (No offense to big dog owners; I love ALL dogs, regardless of size!)

Well anyway, here are some quick drawings I did of a random Shih Tzu dog. I tried to make the eyes slightly slanted, since Shih Tzus are Chinese dogs, after all. ^_^ These are just really rough sketchy pictures, an attempt to get a feel on capturing that Shih Tzu look in an animation style....this one looks a lot like my Mei, of course, although her hair is a bit shorter right now.
